Who We Are

At the Clyde FC Community Foundation, we believe that sport has the power to transform lives—building confidence, bringing people together and promoting health and education. We run grassroots sports programmes for people of all ages and backgrounds, fostering inclusivity and community spirit.


The Role


We’re looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our Board of Trustees. As a trustee, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our strategy, ensuring strong governance, and supporting our mission to make sports accessible to all.


Key Responsibilities:
• Help set the charity’s strategic direction.
• Ensure financial oversight and compliance with legal responsibilities.
• Provide guidance, expertise, and leadership.
• Advocate for the charity and build connections in the community.


Experience required

We welcome applications from all backgrounds, particularly those with expertise in:
✅ Financial management and corporate fundraising
✅ Marketing & public relations
✅ Governance and strategic planning
✅ Property management
No prior trustee experience? No problem! As long as you have the enthusiasm for the role and some of the skills, we provide support and training to help you thrive in the role.

Restrictions

Minimum age: 18

Frequency & commitment
• This is a voluntary role, but the rewards are immense. • Approx. 6 meetings per year, plus occasional event involvement. • An opportunity to develop leadership skills and create lasting impact in your community.

Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
