Volunteer with YCSA – Empower Young People in Glasgow This Summer!

YCSA (Youth Community Support Agency) is a Glasgow-based charity dedicated to empowering young people from diverse backgrounds, particularly those from Black and Minority Ethnic communities. We support young people to build confidence, develop skills, and create positive futures. This summer, we’re inviting enthusiastic and creative volunteers to be part of our vibrant Summer Activity Clubs!

Are you enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about supporting young people?
Join YCSA’s vibrant Summer Activity Clubs as a Volunteer Facilitator and help us deliver an exciting programme full of adventure, creativity, and fun!

We’re looking for volunteers to support our team for 4 weeks during July and August, as we run our clubs for young people under 16.


What you’ll do:
-Support the delivery of sports, arts and crafts, games, and group outings
-Help create a positive, inclusive atmosphere for participants
-Bring your ideas for activities – staff will support you in trying them out!


Work with young people both in group settings and occasionally one-to-one


Time commitment: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday – 10 am to 3 pm We can be flexible depending on your availability – just let us know!


What support do you receive?
-Ongoing guidance from the Programme Lead and Volunteer Manager
-Regular check-ins and encouragement throughout the programme
-A chance to reflect on your experience and get feedback to help your personal development


What you’ll gain:

-Opportunities to build your skills in teamwork, facilitation, leadership, and planning

Please note: As this role involves working with under-16s, a PVG check (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) is required. We’ll support you through the application process if needed.

Travel expenses

We will pay bus fares if required and Volunteers will receive a Thank You gift card at the end.
