Move against Cancer 5K Your Way Volunteer

Move Against Cancer was set up in 2016 by Gemma Hillier Moses to support youngsters and anyone impacted by Cancer to get more physically active. We currently have three main branches to the Charity’s work: An 8 week online exercise program with Cancer Rehabilitation exercise specialists for youngsters aged 13-30 years who are living with or recuperating from cancer. A 5k Your Way Move against Cancer program that is nationwide to encourage individuals impacted by Cancer to walk, jog, run or cheer together in local parks and outdoor spaces, once a month to encourage individuals to move more. The provision of a library of empowering and informative resources, including workshops, videos, podcasts and online Move your way exercise sessions to encourage individuals to become more active and as a result improve their quality of life. We are looking for physically active volunteers or ambassadors 18 years and over to assist us in setting up and supporting our 5K your way activity program. In return for your valuable time you will not only have the opportunity to gain additional skills, and work alongside a fantastic team but also have the fulfilment and joy of helping individuals impacted by Cancer.
