Volunteer - Refreshment & Catering Assistant - Edinburgh Hospice

Marie Curie is committed to providing exceptional care and comfort to people living with terminal illness and their families. As part of this mission, we’re looking for warm, reliable, and compassionate individuals to join us as Refreshment and Catering Assistant Volunteers at our Edinburgh Hospice.

In this rewarding role, you’ll help create a welcoming environment by supporting our catering team and ensuring patients receive nourishing meals and refreshments with kindness and dignity.

What you’ll be doing:


Preparing and presenting the drinks trolley with care
Serving meals and/or drinks to patients with friendliness and courtesy
Topping up water jugs with fresh ice and water
Collecting used trays and crockery, and loading them into the dishwasher
Keeping the ward kitchen, family room, and communal areas clean and tidy
Assisting with other related tasks as needed
