Refugee Festival Scotland Event assistant

Event: Marking Our Milestones: A Community Celebration
Date: Saturday 14 June
Time: 12–4pm (set-up from 10:30am and clean up 4-4:30pm)
Location: Kinning Park Complex, 43 Cornwall St, G41 1BA

We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help us deliver a warm, welcoming celebration of culture, community and shared milestones—from around the world and right here in Glasgow!


This vibrant event will feature delicious food, fun games, a bouncy castle, and activities for all ages. It’s a chance to bring people together and show solidarity with Refugees and Asylum Seekers in our community.


Volunteer Roles Available:
•????? Food Table Assistants (3) – Help serve and manage our delicious food offerings
•?? Games Helpers (3) – Support fun and inclusive games for children and families
•?? Bouncy Castle Monitors (2) – Keep things safe and joyful at the bouncy castle
•?? Event Photographers (2) – Capture the magic of the day
•??? Photo Spot Encouragers (2) – Invite guests to take pictures at our world map
•??? Tombola Helper (1) – Help run our prize draw with a smile
•?? Face painting (1) – Paint children’s faces (experience required) with provided paints
•? Henna (1) – Draw designs on skin with provided henna (experience required)
•?? Clean-up (2) – Help clean up the space at the end of the day
