Trustee

Home-Start Levenmouth is seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Board of Trustees. This is a rewarding opportunity to help shape the future of a valued local charity that supports families with young children through challenging times. As a Trustee, you’ll contribute your skills and experience to guide our strategic direction, ensure good governance, and support the continued delivery of high-quality services.

Home-Start Levenmouth is particularly interested in people with backgrounds in finance, HR, legal, fundraising, or early years, but welcome applications from anyone passionate about supporting families. You don’t need prior board experience—just a willingness to learn and get involved.

Trustees attend quarterly board meetings, with occasional additional involvement. Training and support are provided.

If you want to make a real impact in your community, build valuable experience, and be part of a friendly and supportive team, Home-Start Levenmouth would love to hear from you.

Experience required

-Commitment to Home-Start’s values and mission to support families with young children.

-Willingness to contribute time and actively participate in Board meetings and occasional events.

-Good communication and teamwork skills — able to listen, challenge constructively, and work collaboratively.

-Sound judgment and integrity — able to make decisions in the charity’s best interest.

-Willingness to learn about governance and charity responsibilities (training is provided).

People from all walks of life are welcome, especially those who reflect the diversity of the families we support.
