Committee Members

Our community group is preparing to take over the running of Polmont Sports Centre in order to keep the Centre open for the benefit of local residents. Entirely volunteer-led, the committee are passionate about ensuring the Centre continues to operate as successfully as possible.

We are looking for committed individuals who can share their time and skills to help support the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity, alongside the Chair and other board members.

We ask that all our members work well with others, prepare for our fortnightly meeting, participate creatively in discussions, give your best considered advice, and complete accepted actions from the meeting in a timely way.

Experience required

A genuine commitment to saving Polmont Sports Centre and a ‘can do’ attitude to progress our vision are the most important attitudes. Skills could include finding funding opportunities, fund raising ideas, minute taking and agenda compilation. No experience is necessary, only enthusiasm.

A willingness to share and develop skills would also be beneficial.
