Reception Volunteer

Our community group is preparing to take over the running of Polmont Sports Centre in order to keep the Centre open for the benefit of local residents. Entirely volunteer-led, the committee are passionate about ensuring the Centre continues to operate but more volunteers are needed who will be able to support its day-to-day running.

We are looking for a committed individual who could help on the Sports Centre reception. This would involve:

• Greeting visitors.


• Taking phone calls, answering general enquiries, and other general comms.


• Keeping the reception area organised.


• Being a key holder for the centre to help open and close.

This role is essential to the smooth running of the Centre and we greatly value the contribution of our volunteers. If you enjoy being social and organised then this could be a great opportunity to get involved.

Experience required

Good communication skills and friendly aproachable attitude. Ability to record information on a database (training will be provided on using Hallbooking application).

A willingness to share and develop skills would also be beneficial.
