We need your help to list donated items for sale online. Your contribution will directly impact Oxfam's ability to provide essential aid and support to communities around the world. It’s a fun, flexible way to make a real difference!
No prior experience is necessary. We provide full training on how to create compelling listings that will attract buyers and maximise our fundraising efforts. Join our team and help us raise vital funds for Oxfam! Even a few hours a week can make a huge difference.
Volunteer Tasks:
Select, sort, and research donated items suitable for online sale
Photograph and measure items clearly and attractively
Write accurate and appealing online listings
Use our systems to upload listings to Oxfam’s Online Shop or eBay
Pack and dispatch sold items to customers
Help maintain accurate online stock records

Location:
This role takes place at our [insert town/shop/hub location] Oxfam Online Shop.
Time Commitment:
We welcome volunteers who can give even a few hours a week. Shifts are flexible.
The minimum age to volunteer in the Oxfam shop (including Online Hub and eBay roles) is 14 years old. But anyone under 18 must have parental or guardian consent before starting

Experience required
Skills & Qualities Required:
-Interest in online selling or e-commerce
-Good written English for creating item descriptions
-Basic IT skills (we’ll provide training)
-Attention to detail and willingness to learn
-Ability to work independently or as part of a team

The Oxfam Books & Music shop located on Victoria Road in Glasgow is at:
427–429 Victoria Road, Glasgow, G42?8RW.
Queen's Park train station across the road and buses 4,5,6 and 7 stop on the street. Multiple stopping on Pollokshaws Road that is a block away.

Availability
Volunteers (aged 14-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
