Faith Representative (South Ayrshire)

If you attend a place of worship and are looking for an easy way to put your faith into action, you could become a Mary's Meals Faith Representative. Mary's Meals provides school meals to over 2.6 million children living in poverty every school day, helping give them access to education and hope for a better future.
Our Faith Representatives volunteer in their communities to be the main point of contact for Mary’s Meals, helping us to share updates with their faith community and encouraging support.

As a faith representative, you would act as a link between your place of worship and Mary's Meals. You could help by:
•Sharing our magazines and campaign materials at key points in the year
•Selling our Christmas cards
•Giving an annual update to your faith community - in the newsletter, or giving a talk
•Providing a point of contact for people wanting to support our work or find out more.
By doing this, you will help us keep the promise of a daily school meal to the 2.6 million children who rely on our school meals.

Volunteering with Mary’s Meals provides great personal benefits such as:
• Learn new skills and experience of working within a vibrant organisation
• Meet new and like-minded people
• Increase confidence
• Build on communication skills
• Knowledge that you are playing a key part in reaching the next child waiting for Mary’s Meals

We are looking for volunteers who are friendly, trustworthy, interested in meeting new people and committed to our mission and values. This opportunity is also very flexible, and volunteers are encouraged to bring their skills, experience and ideas to the role.
