Mary's Meals

If you are a young person between the ages of 14 and 25 passionate about making a difference, you could become a Mary's Meals Youth Ambassador. Mary's Meals serves school meals to over 2.6 million children living in poverty every school day across 16 countries, helping end child hunger and increasing access to education for the next generation.
Our Mary's Meals Youth Ambassadors are young people around the world who are raising awareness of Mary's Meals in their communities, encouraging people to join our mission and support our work to create a better future.
Activities you can get involved in include:
·Raising awareness of our work by giving talks in your school/university/workplace/community
·Organising events such as bake sales, fundraising concerts, sponsored walks and more
·Representing Mary's Meals at events in your local area
·Raising awareness of our work on social media
·Attending global youth gatherings online or in person to connect with youth ambassadors around the world (age 16+)
·Supporting Mary's Meals events and campaigns
Volunteering with Mary’s Meals provides great personal benefits such as:

• Meet new and like-minded people
• Increase confidence
• Build on team-working skills, event management, communication and networking
• Knowledge that you are playing a key part in reaching the next child waiting for Mary’s Meals
Restrictions
Minimum age: 14
Volunteers (aged 14-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
