Bucket Collector

Volunteering details

Urgent volunteer appeal from Muscular Dystrophy UK

We’ve just been given a last-minute opportunity to collect at Ibrox Stadium during a huge Champions League qualifies match — Rangers FC vs Panathinaikos on Tuesday, 22nd July 2025 — and we urgently need volunteers to help us make the most of it.

This is a huge platform for us – and we want to turn every bucket into real impact for our community.

We’re asking for just 90 minutes of volunteers time before kick-off to help raise vital funds and awareness for people across Scotland living with muscle wasting and weakening conditions.

Here’s what you need to know:
📍 Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow
📅 Tuesday, 22 July 2025
🕕 Arrive by 6 pm – collect until 7.45 pm (kick-off)

Your time could help fund:
• Lifeline support for families in Scotland facing a muscle-wasting diagnosis
• Our local peer support and muscle groups
• Access to disability sports events and practical resources
• Campaigning for better care and recognition across Scotland

We’ll provide all materials, support on the day and a warm welcome – all we need is you (and a friend – or three - if you’d like to bring one!)

Minimum age 16 (under 16's must be accompanied by an adult).
