We are looking for more volunteers to join our team for Fresh Ayr Folk Festival 2025 and we need your help! The festival takes place this year 8th - 10th August in Ayr Town Hall.

Volunteers can take on a variety of roles from stewarding, managing the box office and being on our bar team (18+ only for bar team). Volunteers can be 16+ however only 18+ can help us run the bars in our venues. If you love music this is a great opportunity to support a local festival and enjoy some great music.
Volunteering Roles:
Cutty Sark Centre: Box Office & Merch Sales and Wristband Exchange
All venues: General Stewarding / Ticket Check / Front of House
All venues: Artist Liaison and Hospitality Rider Management
We ask you to be available for at least one shift a day lasting no more than 4 hours.

We love our volunteers! You will receive an information pack with everything you need to know about volunteering with us, a free t-shirt to wear when you are volunteering and the opportunity to attend some our gigs when you are not on shift.

Once you have signed up you will receive a link to select your own shifts for the festival. Shifts typically last 4 hours and if you are available we would love for you to do one shift per day of the festival (if you can!).
