Volunteers are the life and blood of Foodbanks, your qualities could be just what they need.

As the demand for support continues to rise, Glenrothes Foodbank are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to plan, prepare and serve lunches to clients. This role involves working alongside another volunteer, Foodbank staff and engaging and communicating with Foodbank clients.

Due to the nature of this role, a Food Hygiene certificate would be preferred however not essential as relevant training can be provided.

Experience required

Confidence in preparing a large quantity of meals would be advantageous as well as effective communication skills. A Food Hygiene certificate would be preferred.

Travel details

The opportunity is at the Glenrothes Foodbank, Caledonia House, Pentland Park, Glenrothes.
