Our social café and larder currently open Tuesday’s and Thursday’s 10am-12pm. To increase our opening hours, we are looking for a new volunteer café administrator who can support our existing administrators and allow extension of opening days / hours.
The role includes key operating functions:
• Collection of food from the COOP the evening before
• Larder set up and break down
• Opening and closing of premises
• Counting of Pay as You Feel funds
• Support for café volunteers during opening hours
The hours for this role can be scoped according to the volunteer’s availability.
Volunteers (aged 12-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
