Brunch and Blether Volunteer

Slamannan Action Group Brunch & Blether was an idea that came from a small group of people that felt living in a rural and isolated village could be challenging for some residents.

They are currently looking to recruit new volunteers to join the team and help at the Brunch and Blether sessions for 2 hours once a fortnight where our members meet up and enjoy presentations from local services, learn something new such as crafting or take part in chair yoga, curling and plenty more.

Volunteers would be asked to help with tasks such as:

  • set up tables and chairs

  • help with serving refreshments and food

  • assist with managing the activities

  • help to tidy the hall area and put away tables and chairs at the end of the session.

Experience required

A variety of different skills sets would be nice to compliment those already existing within the group. Good communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of different age groups.
