Groundwork & Pen Building Volunteers

Join the SSPCA in creating a brighter future for rescued animals in Highland

Groups and Trades Volunteers Needed at Inverness

The Scottish SPCA (SSPCA) is at the heart of animal welfare in the Highlands, rescuing and caring for vulnerable animals from all walks of life. But to help even more animals in need, our main Inverness site urgently requires expansion — and we can’t do it alone.

We are calling on local groups, employer-supported volunteering teams, and skilled tradespeople to join our mission. We need your help to clear ground, lay foundations, and build new animal pens, so we can provide shelter and hope for more rescued animals than ever before.

Volunteering with the SSPCA is a chance to make a real difference in your community, gain valuable experience, and contribute to a lasting legacy for animal welfare in the Highlands.

Are you part of a group, business, or team looking to give back?

Do you have skills in construction, groundwork, or trades?

Are you passionate about animal welfare?

If so, we’d love to hear from you. Together, we can create more space, save more lives, and ensure every animal gets the second chance they deserve.

Contact the SSPCA Inverness team today and help build a better future for Highland animals.
