Become a Trustee of Rail 74 Community Rail Partnership
Are you passionate about making a difference in your local community? Do you believe in the power of sustainable transport, community connections, and local pride?
Rail 74 Community Rail Partnership is looking for committed and community-minded individuals to join our Board of Trustees. This is a voluntary role where you’ll help shape and guide our work along the Rutherglen–Blantyre - Newton - Cambuslang - Hamilton–Motherwell rail corridor.
As a trustee, you’ll play a key part in:
- Supporting community-led initiatives that promote mental health, wellbeing, and social inclusion.
- Building strong partnerships with local groups, schools, and businesses.
- Helping us improve local stations and create welcoming, accessible spaces for all.
- Influencing transport and regeneration policies in South Lanarkshire and beyond.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, and especially value lived experience, local knowledge, and a passion for community development. Whether you’re new to governance or an experienced trustee, your perspective and enthusiasm will be valued.
