IT Volunteer

Knights Templar Goodwill Charity of Scotland is dedicated to alleviating poverty and assisting those in need in Scotland by providing essential care packages, food, clothing and long-term support for veterans, homeless and those living in poverty.

Do you have good IT skills and some time to spare? How would you like to help support Knights Templar to boost engagement with the local community? They require a volunteer to support them by regularly updating their website, setting up new email addresses and helping with digital queries. This role can be hybrid allowing you to complete tasks on site and at home. This is a flexible role which will involve engagement with the managers and volunteers. You will also be closely involved with the social media volunteer.

Experience required

Good IT and interpersonal skills are required for this role. Experience of working as part of a team would be beneficial.

Travel details

This opportunity takes place at the Community Hub, 12 Thistle Street, Cowdenbeath, KY4 8LP which is accessible by both private and public transport. The opportunity can also partly be completed at home.

Travel expenses

Travel expenses will be reimbursed on a case-by-case basis at public transport rates.

Support
Training details

Volunteers are given a full induction and training within their role. Ongoing support will be provided by a named contact.
