Collection Box Coordinator

We want you - and we mean it!
Become a Collection Box Coordinator and play a hands-on role in helping to change lives with Marie Curie

You’ll be the friendly face behind our iconic collection boxes, bringing them to life in your community to help raise vital funds.

What you’ll do
• Scope out local hotspots to place our Yellow collection boxes.
• Drop off & pick up collection boxes
• Bank donations - watch it all add up!
• Drop off & pick up collection boxes
• Run local fundraising events
• Be the friendly face at bucket collections
• Spread the word and paint your town yellow


What you’ll need
• Be 18+
• Know your local area
• Provide 2 references (no driving or checks needed)

Experience required

What you’ll bring to the table:
• A warm, chatty nature - talking about Marie Curie will be second nature.
• Great organisation skills to keep track of collection boxes.
• Team spirit, especially when linking up with local fundraising groups.

Travel expenses

We reimburse travel expenses monthly, including mileage for personal vehicle use at 45p per mile and reimbursement for any public transport fares

Frequency & commitment
This is a flexible volunteering opportunity which can suit your schedule

Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
