Citizens Advice Bureaux are local, independent charities that provide free and confidential advice and information whoever you are and whatever your problem.
You will be the clients’ first point of contact with the bureau and provide clients a warm welcome, taking details of their enquiry to pass on to advisers.
What might you be doing?
Welcoming clients via phone and in bureau
Providing information on CAB triage procedures
Working within agreed bureau systems and procedures
Taking phone calls and passing messages to advisers
Updating client records in CAB database system
Updating and managing appointment booking system
3 Opportunities have become available to volunteer within our Triage Service. This can be undertaken by 1 person or 3.
This role would be perfect for someone wishing to keep busy in their daily life or gain new experiences and skills for employability.

Support
Training details
Full training will be provided which will include - eLearning courses, shadowing and 1:1 support.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
ou will be speaking with a diverse rnage of people within the local community regarding topics which require specific information to be gathered.
Availability
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
