Volunteering details

Do you love cosplay and want to make a real difference in the lives of children and families across Scotland? The CHAS Causeplayers are calling on passionate volunteers to suit up and support Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS)!

We’re a community of cosplayers who attend events and fundraising collections to raise awareness and donations for CHAS, helping provide vital care for children with life-shortening conditions and support for their families.

Why Join Us?
Use your cosplay to attract attention and spark smiles
Help raise essential funds for a life-changing cause
Engage with the public – thank donors, share what CHAS is all about, and pose for the occasional photo!
Be part of a fun, welcoming group of people who love what they do
Whether you're a seasoned cosplayer or just getting started, your enthusiasm and presence can make a huge impact. We’ll keep you updated on upcoming events and collections throughout the year - your participation, big or small, is always appreciated!
Join the CHAS Causeplayers today and become a real-life hero for children and families across Scotland.

Suit up. Show up. Make a difference.

What are the benefits to the children and families supported by CHAS?
By raising money for CHAS you are helping to fund our vital services that support children and families at difficult times in their lives.

A visible presence in the community, raising funds at events, you are the local face of CHAS and help to raise awareness of our vital services in the community.

What else should I know?
CHAS is committed to providing a quality volunteering experience to all volunteers, free from discrimination and prejudice. Ensuring that CHAS is an equal, diverse, and inclusive organisation improves the quality of care we provide, helps us reach more families and children, and maximises a wide variety of knowledge, experience and expertise.
We welcome volunteer applications from those who are refugees, asylum seekers, benefit claimants and those with a disability. We can provide more information about your eligibility to volunteer and any reasonable adjustments we can put in place to ensure your volunteering experience is a positive one.
