Creative Display and Window Volunteer

The Toll Community Centre is a volunteer-led community space in Burntisland, supporting children, families and older people with youth clubs, activities and events. Their Hub on the High Street acts as both a food pantry as well as a charity shop, fostering connection and community.

Are you creative and artistic? Are you interested in visual merchandising? This role may be the ideal opportunity for you.

The creative display and window role involves designing and maintaining eye catching shop window displays that draw in the community and reflect seasonal themes or key messages.

Key tasks include:

-Designing monthly or seasonal window displays that are colourful and community focused

-Creating signage, labels or visual displays that share information in a friendly, accessible way

-Working with the shop team to promote special sales, events or themes through displays

-Ensuring the display area is safe and tidy at all times

-Sourcing or suggesting sustainable materials for decorating where needed

Experience required

You don’t need lots of experience to help out, we’re just looking for people who are friendly, reliable and happy to be part of a team. A bit of creativity and an eye for what looks good would be great for this role. Training and support will be given, so enthusiasm and a positive attitude matter more than experience!
