Local Events Coordinator/ Fundraiser Volunteer

Volunteering details

Honeypot Children’s Charity supports young carers aged 5-12 years through residential short breaks, memory making days and ongoing pastoral support. Two years ago, we proudly opened the doors to our first Scottish Honeypot House in Dalleagles, Ayrshire.
Now, as we look to raise our profile across Scotland and increase fundraising opportunities, we are seeking enthusiastic Event and Fundraising Volunteers to help us reach even more children who need our support. This is a key role within our team as we rely on our events and donations to allow us to continue supporting young carers aged 5-12.
As a volunteer, you will work alongside our Fundraising Manager and other Honeypot supporters to make events such as supermarket collections and community fayres a success. You might find yourself setting up stalls, welcoming guests, managing donations or raising awareness for Honeypot. You can support by spreading the word locally, sharing posts on social media or representing Honeypot at community and school events.
By volunteering, you will be helping us provide life changing opportunities to young carers in Scotland. Your time and energy will directly support Honeypot, ensuring that even more children have the chance to make happy childhood memories.
