Local Collection Co-ordinator Volunteer

Volunteering details

Honeypot Children’s Charity supports young carers aged 5-12 years through residential short breaks, memory making days and ongoing pastoral support. Two years ago, we proudly opened the doors to our first Scottish Honeypot House in Dalleagles, Ayrshire. Now, as we look to raise our profile across Scotland and increase fundraising opportunities, we are looking for Collection Tin Co-ordinators to help raise vital funds in their local communities. This is a key role within our team as we rely on our events and donations to allow us to continue supporting young carers aged 5-12.
As a Collection Tin Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in building connections with local shops, cafes, pubs and community venues by placing Honeypot collection tins in visible spots where the public can make a donation. You will keep in touch with the venues, check on tins and collect, count and return donations to Honeypot. You will also help raise awareness by talking to businesses and community groups about Honeypot and the difference their support makes.
By volunteering, you will not only be helping us raise funds but also increasing Honeypot’s visibility across Scotland. Your efforts will directly support our work at Honeypot and ensure we can continue to expand our support for young carers across the country.
