Online Photography Activity Group- Admin Support Volunteer (South Lanarkshire) (Branch)

Our branch and groups provide invaluable support to autistic people and their families in the South Lanarkshire area, and this role will help facilitate that.

What you will be doing
Sending out links for monthly online group activity sessions
Preparing and sending out letters / information packs / etc., to group members about group activities (by post or by email) or making sure the Online Activity Group Leader has all the information required so that they can do this.
Responding to group emails.
Providing admin support at monthly online group activity sessions as required.
Providing the Branch Chair and Social Media Volunteer with an email update following each activity session so achievements and the groups’ photography work can be recognised via branch newsletters/ Facebook page/ etc. (N.B. We have a template for this)
Provide the Branch Chair and Social Media Volunteer with details of the next session with details of theme, how to register, etc., to promote the session and enable new and existing members to attend. (N.B. We have a template for this)
Other administration tasks that may arise within the group

Experience required

Good organisational skills.
Access to a computer with internet access.
Confident using Outlook, Word, Excel and Microsoft Teams.
Able to work respectfully and maintain confidentiality
Patience and understanding of the needs of others.
Knowledge and experience of the autism spectrum is an advantage but not essential as we can provide training.
Confident liaising with others to share information (e.g. providing an email update about group activity to Branch Chair and Social Media Volunteer)
