Chest Heart & Stroke (Scotland)
- VO104134
We are developing a new peer support group for people with Chest, Heart, Stroke experiences. The purpose of the group is to bring people with these conditions to socialise and gain support from others with shared experiences. We have a successful group in Bonnyrigg and they would like another group to be established as they have a waiting list of people waiting to join a group. Volunteers will provide a safe space for these people to support each other and try some new activities.
Experience required
It would be helpful to have some knowledge of our conditions either personal or in a caring role. The ability to get along with people and encourage them to try new things is essential. A positive attitude and a supportive, caring approach.
