Join the fun as a Fundraising Group Member with Canine Partners! Team up with fellow volunteers in our North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders Fundraising Group to help plan and deliver exciting local events that help raise vital funds for amazing assistance dogs. You’ll meet monthly, share ideas, plan activities, and be the friendly face of Canine Partners in your community.
Work with your fellow group volunteers to organise fundraising events and activities to raise money for Canine Partners. Events include dog shows, afternoon teas, pop-up stalls, in-store collections, and many more.
Taking on tasks to assist with the organisation of fundraising events. Tasks may include selling merchandise, handing out leaflets, and chatting with people attending the event.
Liaising with the Fundraising Group Leader to organise events and keep Canine Partners updated.
Experience required
No experience is required. All we ask for is a polite, confident and personable manner.
You will also require access to transport, with the flexibility to visit different locations.
Support
Training details
Event management training will be provided, and there is the opportunity to take part in other training sessions which are delivered remotely.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
