Now that the days are getting shorter our annual short term knitting appeal is live again. This opportunity is suitable for people that would like to volunteer from home or as part of a group.
We are looking for volunteers to knit or crochet items for 3 organisations as well as people to knit squares
The Leanne Fund ( baby knits, especially baby boy knits)
The Blythswood Appeal
Knit a Square charity
Experience required
Some knitting skills required
Dates
20 October - 11 December 2025
Restrictions
Minimum age: 14
Volunteers (aged 14-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
