Savvy with Social Media

Volunteer Opportunity: Digital Marketing & Social Media Volunteer

About Us

Common Thread Vision (CTV) is a relatively new and small, but growing charity dedicated to supporting the elderly community in Glasgow. Our focus is on promoting equal opportunities in accessing a range of health and wellbeing services. These include a Lunch Club, Arts & Crafts, Yoga, and Massage sessions.

We’re based in Glasgow’s South Side. Our Women’s Group brings local women together to connect, learn new skills, and support each other. We’re now looking for a creative, social media–savvy volunteer to help us share our story and grow our online presence.

The Role

As our Digital Marketing Volunteer, you’ll help manage and grow our Facebook and Instagram accounts - and support with other online communications. You’ll create engaging posts, celebrate our community activities, and help more people discover what we do.

This is a great opportunity if you:

Already use social media regularly and want to gain professional experience
Enjoy being creative and sharing positive stories online
Want to support women and community initiatives in Glasgow

What You’ll Do

Create and schedule content for Facebook and Instagram
Interact with followers and respond to messages or comments
Monitor engagement and assist with simple analytics
Help increase awareness of our projects and events
Share live updates from events and community activities

What You’ll Get

Real-world experience in digital marketing and communications
A chance to develop your creative skills and portfolio
Flexibility to fit volunteering around your schedule
The satisfaction of supporting a local women’s community group
Friendly support from our small, welcoming team

If you’re enthusiastic, reliable, and love social media - we’d love to hear from you!
