Volunteer gardener

The High Backs is a community garden in Burnhill, Rutherglen - a green space that belongs to everyone. We have planters, a polytunnel, a bug hotel, and a community growing area,
and we need someone who loves being outdoors and wants to help us make the most of it.
As our Garden Lead, you'll take real ownership of the garden - seasonal planting and tending, managing the composting area, welcoming community members who come to grow, and helping the space thrive throughout the year.
You don't need formal qualifications or equipment - just a love of growing things, some practical experience, and the enthusiasm to make something brilliant happen.
coffee, biscuits galore and there is a lovely indoor space to have a good old natter if it's bucketing!
