Adult Volunteer

We are now recruiting new adult volunteers for the existing Coatbridge group and new Hamilton group.

The role of the Adult Volunteer

Essentially , safeguarding Youth Volunteers whilst supporting the education, planning and administration of all that is required to run a PSYV group. Successful candidates will be expected to:


• Be good role models
• Comply with all UK laws
• Be responsible and accountable
• Be fair, show respect and treat others with dignity
• Communicate openly and respectfully
• Work together with PSYV and parents/carers

The PSYV groups meet every alternating Thursday evening between 1900 hours – 2030 hours (With the adult volunteers meeting at 1830 hours for session set up and planning). Most events are during school holidays and weekends.
You will be expected to dedicate at least 3 hours a month to the PSYV Adult role.
You will also be expected to go through the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) and vetting to level 1 process.
