Scout Group Team Leader Volunteers

Can you make it possible for young people aged 10-14 to experience life changing adventures and support them in decision making, taking the lead and developing independence, confidence and skills?
We are looking for enthusiastic Scout Leader Volunteers to grow a small Scout Troop. Based in our own Scout Hut in Kincorth, we cover the whole south side of Aberdeen.
Working as part of a team of adult volunteers you will help to deliver an exciting programme of outdoor activities, community projects, games and challenges, learning about global issues and going on local, regional, national and even sometimes international camps and trips.
Currently the Scouts meet on a Thursday evening but this can be changed to suit your availability. Full training and support will be given by the Scouting organisation and existing members of the 55th.
Volunteering can be a brilliant way to boost your mental wellbeing and it's a great feeling knowing you are helping young people get skills for life.
For more information please contact Claire Stewart, Cub Team Member at email: [email protected]
