We are recruiting trustees for Newfield Community Group. Are you passionate about making a difference in your local community? Newfield Community Group is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our Board of Trustees. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise, shape our strategic direction, and help us achieve our mission.
About the Role
As a Trustee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring strong governance, financial sustainability and impactful delivery of our charitable objectives. Our mission is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of those living in the community by working with Third Sector organisations from our base in Whitfield.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applicants with experience in governance, finance, fundraising, legal compliance,community engagement or organisational development. Above all, a commitment to our vision and values is essential. We welcome those who may have lived experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and oversight
Ensure compliance with legal and financial obligations
Support fundraising and income generation efforts
Act as an ambassador for the charity
Attend quarterly Board meetings and relevant committees.
