Hospice Shop Assistant - Rutherglen

Volunteer Retail Assistant – Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, Rutherglen
Looking for a fun way to give back and meet great people? Join our Rutherglen hospice shop team and help support the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice!
What you’ll do:

Greet and help customers with a smile


Sort, price, and display donations


Operate the till and handle cash or card payments


Keep the shop tidy and welcoming


Assist with stock deliveries and displays


Share information about the hospice and its work

Who we’re looking for:

Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic


Team players who enjoy working with others


Reliable and committed


Willing to learn — full training provided


Comfortable using simple ICT/till systems

Time commitment:

Flexible shifts available – minimum 2–3 hours per week

Travel details

From Rutherglen town centre:
Head east along Main Street toward Gallowflat Street.
Turn left onto Gallowflat Street.
The hospice shop will be a short walk ahead on the left at number 9.
By public transport:
Take a bus to Gallowflat Street or Main Street in Rutherglen.
Walk to the junction of Main Street and Gallowflat Street, then head down Gallowflat Street to number 9.
By car:
From Glasgow, follow signs toward Rutherglen (via A728 or local routes).
