Events Assistant

Valleyfield Community Club is looking for volunteers for the community events they regularly run. The events are typically older people’s evenings and children’s parties.
There are a range of tasks that volunteers can get involved with, including setting up for the events, clearing away after events, serving refreshments, and speaking with the people who attend to make them feel welcome.
As an events volunteer, you can get involved in a very flexible way, and can help out at whichever events you are available for. Their small team of volunteers allow them to keep planning events for the community. If you would like to make a difference in your local community, this could be the right opportunity for you.

Experience required

Volunteers need to be comfortable speaking to members of the public who attend the events.
