Enable elderly people with limited mobility actually to access the outdoors. With huge beneficial impacts on
health and wellbeing, mental and physical, for people in every part of Scotland with any kind of mobility
challenge or living in isolation or loneliness: people in all generations but especially the elderly.
Our trained pilots would offer safe rides on our trishaw for care home residents and other third sector
organisations. Most rides will be delivered from either the Twechar Healthy Living & Enterprise Centre or
Twechar Outdoor Pursuits Centre.
Experience required
cycling, generally fit although the trishaw are electric. Good communicator as the passenger probably
expects a little chat.
Travel details
Twechar, there is a bus which runs through Twechar. Possibly other areas in East Dunbartonshire if we
transfer trishaw to say a community gala day.
