Do you love bringing people together through games and good conversation?
The Community Hub is looking for a friendly, patient volunteer to help run our weekly board game sessions. In this role, you’ll create a welcoming space where participants of all ages can relax, have fun and build their confidence in social settings.
You’ll help everyone feel included, support their learning and participation and keep simple records of attendance while sharing any feedback or concerns with our staff team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a calm, encouraging presence who enjoys helping others connect.
Key responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate and set up weekly games
- Welcome participants and help them feel comfortable
- Teach people how to play new card and board games
- Starting and guiding friendly group conversations
- Helping create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment
- Helping with setting up and tidying before and after the group

Restrictions
Minimum age: 16
Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
