Help us raise awareness and connect with our community.
The Moira Anderson Foundation supports children and adults affected by childhood sexual abuse. As a Community Engagement Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in helping more people understand who we are, what we do, and how we support those who need us.
This role is flexible and can suit different levels of confidence. You might support awareness activity, attend events, or help deliver short talks in community settings such as schools, colleges, and local groups. Some volunteers prefer to present, others support alongside staff or fellow volunteers, both are equally valuable.
What you’ll be involved in:
Supporting awareness raising across the local community
Attending events and representing the Foundation
Delivering or supporting short talks and presentations
Sharing information about our services and impact
Helping create a welcoming and positive presence
What we’re looking for:
Friendly, approachable and reliable
Good communication skills
Willingness to get involved and learn
An interest in making a difference in people’s lives
