Strathaven Balloon festival - Park and Ride Volunteers

An opportunity to develop skills in a variety of areas as part of Scotland's only Hot Air Balloon Festival.
We are looking for volunteers who can communicate effectively with members of the public, take card and cash payments using our resources and be willing to provide information if asked questions about the festival.
About this opportunity:
Volunteers will assist lead volunteers, security and army cadets to ensure the park and ride sites work in a safe manner.
Volunteers will take payments from those entering the park and ride sites. They will then direct drivers to the cadets, who will help them to park their car in a safe manner.
Volunteers will show people where to line up for the bus and assist in answering any questions that might be asked. Volunteers will be given details relating to the car park and where to get the return journey to come back to the correct location.
A member of our security team will always be on site and should be the first person to deal with any difficult situations that arise.
If you are interested, please click the ‘Apply’ button below (available when registered and logged in). You will then be contacted by the coordinator by email or phone call. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided. You could also check your junk/spam folder on your emails just in case the response is there. If that doesn’t work out, then please feel free to contact Volunteer Glasgow on [email protected]
