Travel details
All of these roles can be carried out remotely or on a hybrid basis - you choose how often you wish to volunteer and for how long! Our committee meet once every two months.
Sea Cadets Leith is located in the Prince of Wales Dock, Leith, Edinburgh, EH6 7DX. Cadets meet weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6.45pm - 9.30pm. Please note that we are behind a gate, so you will need to be let in. There is plenty of parking through the gate. Our closest tram stop is Port of Leith. Please let us know if you would like to visit and have any access requirements.
Travel expenses
Travel expenses for training courses are paid for. We will pay for your Disclosure Scotland background check.
Support
Training details
No experience is required! We provide online induction training, such as safeguarding and information management.
Requirements: All candidates will have an interview. If successful, all volunteers undergo a Disclosure Scotland check, which is paid for by us. You will then complete our online induction process and short online training courses.

Access free learning as a volunteer – some of our volunteers have completed degree-level management courses! Flexible roles – you choose your hours and days. Many roles are fully remote and flexible!

Frequency & commitment
This role can be flexibly negotiated with us in order to ensure tasks are completed in a timely way. Some of the tasks could be performed remotely.Unfortunately you can't volunteer for this opportunity using this site, you should apply using this link.
