Boom Saloon
- VO105894
Boom Saloon is an independent publisher using paper and ink to drive social change. We are launching a pop-up bookshop in Leith, Edinburgh, showcasing our publications alongside those from our global community. Our Bookshop Volunteer will set up the space each Saturday, man the shop, take sales, manage stock, speak to customers, share the boom saloon story and close down at the end of the morning – bringing our publications to new readers and turning browsers into buyers.
Travel details
The pop-up bookshop will be located at Brown's of Leith, a home for makers on the Shore. The nearest public transport routes are tram to Port of Leith (Ocean Drive - 275m) or Shore (Constitution St - 375m) or bus to Shore or Sandport St stops. Taxi drop off is available outside. There is limited on street paid parking in the area. The nearest blue badge on street parking is about 285m away on Burgess Street. Venue entrance is step free but has dropped kerbs onto cobbles. Wheelchair accessible toilets.
