Carers co-production group to develop suicide prevention resources

We're developing a project to create a suicide prevention resource that offers support and guidance for unpaid carers.
This work is for Suicide Prevention Scotland and managed by Change Mental Health (who are a strategic outcome lead for Scotland's suicide prevention plan, Creating Hope Together). It will be led by Electrify, Suicide Prevention Scotland's strategic communications agency.
We would like to build a small co-production group to help us shape this project and are inviting people to participate. We hope that four people with lived experience of suicide and being an unpaid carer will join us.
If you feel able to be involved, we'd ask you to share your own insight but you are not under any pressure to discuss anything that doesn't feel right.
The group will likely meet three times, all online. Sessions will last around 60-90 minutes. We will get to know each other, review the information we've already gathered, and then collaborate to create an idea. This might include animation, film, or something designed. There are plenty of options available! Sessions will take place at a time that's convenient to the group. Everyone who participates will be supported and encouraged too. If there are particular times that don't work, let us know and we can factor them into the planning.
If you'd like to chat with the Electrify team (who are super kind!) before committing, we can connect you to them, too.
