Trustee

Borders Additional Needs Group (BANG) is a Scottish Borders charity supporting families of children and young people with additional support needs, including neurodivergent children and young people. We provide peer support, information, training and community programmes that help families feel connected, informed and confident in navigating services.

The Trustee would be offer support and guidance to the Board of Trustees and the Executive Director on
HR issues around staffing / policies etc.

Experience required

We are looking to appoint Voluntary Trustees to complement the skills of our existing Board members, and
are particularly keen to recruit Trustees who have experience in these areas:
• Finance / accounting
• HR
But above all, we are looking for caring, dynamic and committed individuals to help drive our charity
forward. Both challenging and rewarding in equal measure our Trustee roles will provide you with an
opportunity to support a local charity and make a difference. Previous Charity Board experience is
desirable but not as essential as a passion for what we do and a desire to make a positive contribution.
