Are you an experienced social media whiz or a talented student looking to boost your portfolio? We need your help! Venture Trust is searching for a passionate volunteer to create engaging content for our platforms.
Venture Trust is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help showcase the positive impact of our work in communities across Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in communications, marketing and digital storytelling while helping raise awareness of Venture Trust's impact and ensuring more people across Scotland can benefit from our programmes.
As an Impact & Digital Storytelling Volunteer, you'll help bring Venture Trust's work to life by gathering stories, creating engaging content and promoting opportunities and events across our platforms.
Whether you're looking to build your portfolio, develop your skills or use your experience to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
You could:
• Support the creation of photography, video and multimedia content.
• Develop engaging content for social media, websites, newsletters, campaigns and publications.
• Capture participant stories through case studies, blogs, interviews and impact content.
• Update and maintain website content.
• Support email marketing and e-newsletter production.
• Assist with the creation of marketing materials, brochures, presentations and promotional campaigns.
No two volunteering experiences will be exactly the same, and we'll work with you to shape the role around your interests and skills.
About Venture Trust
Venture Trust is dedicated to helping people facing challenging life circumstances, including trauma, poverty, involvement in the justice system, homelessness, and mental health issues. Through outdoor-based personal development programmes and therapeutic support, we empower individuals to build confidence, develop resilience, and make positive, lasting changes in their lives. By helping us share stories of change and achievement, you'll play an important role in raising awareness of our work and inspiring others to get involved.

Experience required
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from people who:
• Enjoy storytelling and creating content.
• Have an interest in social media, communications or marketing.
• Have photography, videography or graphic design skills.
• Are comfortable using social media platforms and design tools such as Canva and video editing software.
• Are creative, organised and reliable.
• Have good communication and people skills.
• Are passionate about supporting people and communities across Scotland.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
• Experience creating content for organisations, clubs, charities or community groups.
• An interest in wellbeing, outdoor learning, employability or community development.
