As a Den Helper, you will support the Staff Team in creating a welcoming and safe environment for families. This rewarding role involves a variety of tasks, from playing with children during activity days and youth groups, to making tea and coffee at support sessions, preparing meals, chatting with parents, and assembling craft packs. Typical tasks will involve;
· Help set up the room for set activities
· Play with the children in the themed activity or during free-time activities
· Preparing refreshments and meals for our families
· Talking with parents
· Ensure all areas are clean and tidy and all spaces free of any clutter
· Share any skills you have with Coordinator and where possible use these in sessions

Experience required

No prior experience is required; the organisation is looking for enthusiastic, friendly, hard-working, and committed volunteers. This role can be emotionally challenging, and therefore requires a resilient individual.

Travel details

Pop up Den’s Fife, usually happen every third Saturday of the month, 10:30-1:30 at
St Columba's Church, Glenrothes.

Travel expenses

We cover public transport expenses and reimburse when they give in their expenses form (when they choose).
We also cover 0.35p of every mile.
