Highland Foodbank Volunteer - Inverness, Dingwall & Alness

Highland Foodbank provides short-term, emergency support to people across the Highlands who are experiencing food insecurity. As part of the Trussell community of food banks, they work to ensure that no one faces hunger alone while also addressing the wider issues that cause food insecurity.
They are reliant on volunteers and support from our local community. As a Highland Foodbank Volunteer, you will welcome and support clients who may be experiencing challenging circumstances, helping to prepare and distribute food parcels while providing a kind, friendly and non-judgemental presence.
Highland Foodbank is currently recruiting volunteers for its Inverness, Dingwall and Alness centres. Volunteer opportunities are available on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm in Inverness, Tuesdays from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm in Dingwall, and Tuesdays and Fridays from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm in Alness. Volunteers may also be asked to support with set-up and other tasks around these times.
