The charitable purpose of Friends of Haughton Park is to provide additional recreational facilities and/or recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom thefacilities/activities are intended. Specifically, to provide additional recreational facilities to enhance the Council-owned Haughton Park for the benefit of the entire community. By encouraging outdoorrecreation and exercise this will promote positive benefits to mental and physical wellbeing whilst encouraging more visitors to the park and village.
