Community First Responders are volunteers trained by the Scottish Ambulance Service in basic life-saving skills who can then be dispatched by Ambulance Control to provide an early response to patients when an ambulance is on its way. We are sent to help people who have chest pains, a cardiac arrest, breathlessness or who have collapsed.
