Aberdeen Ethnic Minority Women’s Group CIC, a community interest company dedicated to supporting and empowering ethnic minority women in the Aberdeen area.

Aberdeen Ethnic Minority Women’s Group CIC is a community-driven organisation that provides crucial support to ethnic minority women and children in the Aberdeen area. By fostering an inclusive environment, the group empowers over 90 women and children from more than 30 nationalities. The company’s focus is on addressing the challenges faced by ethnic minorities, including discrimination, isolation, and limited access to essential services. Through programmes for skill development, education, and advocacy, the group aims to amplify voices, promote racial and gender equality, and create opportunities for success.

Volunteers from the social enterprise have achieved notable accomplishments, including winning the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) awards, and many continue to actively contribute to the group’s initiatives, ensuring a vibrant and ongoing volunteer network. This grassroots approach promotes community collaboration, offering a supportive space where individuals feel valued and empowered to overcome barriers and thrive in all aspects of life.
